apple crostata
made this the other day – just seems a little less fussy than an actual pie. and also it doesn’t have as much sugar as most apple pies.
Slice the apples and add a squeeze of lemon juice. Mix with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg and a pinch of salt.
And this is how you make pie crust (hahahha), roll it out onto a sheet pan.
Place apples in the center of the dough and fold over the edges.
Whisk together an egg w/ a little water to brush the edges of the crust
