Today was fun because I watched the inauguration coverage all day. It was great to watch and pretty uplifting. lets see what happens!

michelle looked great, and we took bets at work on what she’d wear tonight. My vote? one shouldered black and glittery. Yours?

As things at work become … treacherous, I am working on getting my portfolio together. Here are a few things that I’ll probably be adding to the portfolio. I’ll be using this to kind of figure out what to put in, and what to leave out. A portfolio should be between 10-15 pieces, no more, so I’ve got some editing to do. I should show these skills i think:
1) solid design fundamentals
2) strong typography skills
3) photo direction (by showing layouts that I designed AND directed the photo shoots)
4) incorporating a ton of information into a tight package
5) examples of retouching/photo post production
6) illustration

This came today in a press kit from TLC for Miss America. The resemblance is incredible….

Gave the ol’ resume an update and polish…
