Babbo!
Wednesday, March 26th, 2008Babbo, one of Mario Batali’s restaurant got a rating by Zagat (read New York Magazine’s reaction), as the best italian in new york. So i’ve been doing some looking into going there. and there is a pasta and wine tasting menu for $75 that I would love to do.
In the meantime, I won a Babbo cookbook on ebay for $15. hurray! I tried out a bolognese sauce recipe 2 nights ago – substituting ground turkey for pork and veal, and it was still good even without those rich flavors! will put up the recipe soon! The book is really beautifully designed – with some nice clean typography and equally clean photography
