you can’t beat great live music

Dave Matthews Band on wednesday was really amazing. I’ve tried 2 other times to see them and the tickets were sold out, so this was a long time comin. It was great, I got to tailgate with my roomies and lewis. I think what I like about DMB the most is that it doesn’t sound manufactured. I love the way they make music. They sounded amazing live. You know how sometimes when you go to a concert, and you want to hear a song exactly how you remember it? It didn’t bother me when the songs sounded different because they still sounded great. They played for 3 hours, basically straight. He barely said anything to the crowd besides a slurred “hey hope everyones havin a good time tonight!!!!!!” “Lie in Our Graves” sounded great and apparently he doesn’t play that too often live, so I lucked out on that one. That song was probably 15 mins long. I felt like I had just ran a marathon after the concert. We all went back to Kristin’s house and crashed. The girls came up to PA then on their way home and stayed for dinner. We watched about 5 hrs of I Love the 90s and I took them to Rita’s and showed them the town of Nazareth (ooooooh) and all that jazz. Meagan kept commenting on the amount of corn. To really realize what your town is truly like, it takes an outsider.

I’ve been wearing my contacts every day for about a week bc i left my glasses at Denise’s in NYC. I hate wearing them everyday.

So, reunion on saturday….can’t miss another day of work so soon, so I’m comin up on friday after work for a little pre-reunion fun…depending on if becca is back from NYC by like 7 or so. I can really be there by like 6 or 5 because I could just come to work early and/or work extra hours in the beginning of the week. I can really make it there in an hour and a half. Tis v. quick.

I really should get back to work….ta ta.
